That time of the year...AGAIN!!!

So, 2013 is here. New Year is a time for changes, of changes..something new, somethings not so new. I gave a 'new' look to my blog layout. I look at every new year as an opportunity to change something, or start something new. No big deal about it, it's as nonsensical a thought as my nonsensical blogs are ;). And, my favourite activity is making resolutions, oh! I love it, don't ask me why, I just love making and breaking resolutions. I am ready with my resolutions for 2013, albeit a lil late, but it's there. This year I decided not to add weight loss to my list, because, its pointless. I start with a lot of vigour and all it takes is a Belgian chocolate shake, or some rich dark choco pastry or after 8's to lose focus. Ugh! My first resolution is to make sure that I get enough sleep. Am not an owl, I don't suffer from insomnia, but I am unable to get good and enough hours of peaceful sleep. There is always a dream and I just completely lose myself in it, and

Do's and Don'ts...

"Do make sure that you have checked your stationery", I told my son last night, when he was packing his school bag. "Do keep a bottle of water" said my DH. Have you realized how there are so many instructions in our lives? I don't really have a problem with that, they are important in a way, but I do have a problem when the list keeps increasing.  A very good friend and blogger, recently updated her status on fb, which said, that whats the fuss about a toilet seat in a marriage/relationship? Whether its up or down, end of the day its a toilet seat. She was right, I mean what is the huge fuss surrounding a toilet seat in a relationship? Unbelievably, that becomes a deciding factor, if the man doesn't put the toilet down, he is immediately branded as a chauvinist. If he doesn't walk up to open the door for you, he is branded as not-chivalrous. Give it a break girls, and then you talk about being equals! Yes, there is a hidden message in the door openings,

The death of the fearless..

On 16th December, the capital woke up to yet another gang rape news.  Only this time it was not a 'just another rape' news. The victim was not only raped by 6 men, she was also brutally assaulted, with an iron rod, that was inserted in her vagina, thus rupturing her body, her soul. That 23 year old girl, was accompanied by her male friend, and went for a movie. Not finding an auto, she boarded the cursed bus, where the incident happened. What was going through the minds of those bloody men? Even animals don't behave like this. Her friend was assaulted for trying to protect her, and she was raped in a moving bus. The bus apparently circled the same area 5-6 times, the police didn't find anything wrong. She was thrown out of the bus- NAKED, on the road, until few people passing by, reported the matter, and threw a shawl over her writhing body. When we open the paper in the morning, we always have a news posted about rape, from an infant to an old woman, they are all out t
